Who we are
CMS Information Technology Pty Ltd (ABN 32 097 683 139) ("CMS IT", "we", "us") is an Australian IT services provider based at Unit 23, 110 Bourke Road, Alexandria NSW 2015. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
When you contact us through this website — via the contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp — we collect the details you provide: your name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
Like most websites, our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. This website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.
How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use your details for third-party marketing.
Disclosure
Contact form submissions are delivered to our team by email. We only share personal information with trusted service providers we use to run our business (such as our hosting and email providers), and only to the extent needed to respond to you or deliver our services — or where the law requires it.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure — the same layered-security approach we're certified for under SMB1001:2026 (Gold, Level 3). Information is retained only as long as it's needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Links to other sites
This website links to external services (for example WhatsApp, Google Maps and TeamViewer), and our contact page embeds an interactive Google Map, which loads content from Google. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their practices.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing enquiries@cmsit.com.au or calling 02 8004 9251. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
