Proper IT support for small business, from $199 a month
The same security, backups and monitoring our thirty-year clients get — sized and priced for a business of one to four people. Start by finding out whether you’re actually at risk. It takes about a minute and costs nothing.
Are you actually at risk?
Six honest questions. Nobody sees your answers — the score is worked out in your browser and never sent anywhere.
1. Is multi-factor authentication turned on for your email?
2. Is your business data backed up automatically — and has a restore actually been tested?
3. Do your computers still receive security updates? (Windows 10 stopped in October 2025.)
4. If your laptop was stolen tonight, could you keep working tomorrow?
5. Does anyone besides you know the passwords to your critical accounts?
6. Would you know if someone else was reading your email right now?
Answer all six to see your score.
What $199 a month actually covers
Everything below, for your first user. Additional people are $99 each. No lock-in, cancel any month.
Essentials
- Unlimited remote help desk, business hours
- Managed security software on every device
- Automatic backup, with restores tested
- Email protection and MFA set up properly
- Patching and update management
- Password manager for your team
- A real Sydney person who knows your setup
Each extra person
- Everything in Essentials, per person
- So three people is $397 a month
- Five or more? You’ve outgrown Essentials — we’ll quote you properly
One-off setup from $490 covers documenting your systems, deploying security and fixing what we find on day one. Microsoft 365 licences are billed at cost or paid direct to Microsoft — we don’t mark them up. On-site visits are quoted separately; Essentials is a remote service. All prices exclude GST.
Before you buy anything, find out where you stand
The self-check above is a rough guide. The real assessment is a person looking at your actual setup — and you keep the written report whether or not you become a client.
- Whether your email has already been breachedWe check your domain against known credential dumps. This is the one that surprises people most.
- Whether your backups would actually restoreNot whether they run. Whether they work, and how long you’d be down.
- What you’re paying for and don’t useDuplicate subscriptions and forgotten renewals. Often this alone covers the first few months.
- A prioritised fix list with rough costsIncluding the things you could sensibly do yourself. We’ll tell you which those are.
The questions people actually ask
I’m a sole trader with one laptop. Is this overkill?
Possibly, and we’ll say so. If you have one machine, cloud email and nothing irreplaceable stored locally, you may need an hour of setup rather than a monthly plan. The risk assessment is free precisely so you can find that out before spending anything.
Why $199 when others advertise $49?
Because $49 usually buys antivirus and a phone number. Essentials includes managed security, tested backups, patching and unlimited remote support from people who know your setup. If price is the only factor, the cheaper option is genuinely fine for some businesses — we’d rather tell you that than sell you something you resent.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. Month to month, cancel whenever, no exit fee. More than thirty businesses have stayed with us for over twenty years on exactly those terms.
What does the $490 setup actually pay for?
Documenting what you have, deploying security and backup properly, fixing whatever is already broken, and getting your accounts under control. It is real work and it is where most of the risk gets removed. We quote it after the assessment, so you see the number before committing.
What if I grow past four people?
Then Essentials is the wrong shape and we’ll move you to a tailored arrangement. That is a good problem, and there is no penalty for it — the setup work carries over.
Do you come on site?
Essentials is a remote service, which is how it stays at this price. On-site visits are available across Greater Sydney and quoted separately — most small-business issues are solved remotely in minutes anyway.
